Mike drives for a few minutes. A siren goes off and a big SUV pulls up next to the vehicle. Mike pulls the van over to the curb. As soon as he stops, a couple of armed police officers emerge from the SUV and run towards the van.
The side door slides open, revealing a man in a black suit. “I’m agent Jones,” he introduces himself. “And you are all under arrest.” At that moment, two more police cars pull up.
Mike and Jack is handcuffed and hauled off in one of the police cars. The two agents lead Emily, the professor and you into the large SUV where you are joined by Agent Jones.
“Professor, your government needs you to complete the work,” Jones says, looking at the professor. “You and Emily will come with us. The young pilot just need to hand me the memory stick. And not a false one, please.” He holds out his hand.
You hand him the memory stick, knowing that agent Jones will not be fooled.
You are taken to a small private airfield where a private plane waits for you. After a short flight you touch down at the port city where you started out this adventure a few days ago.
Agent Jones bids you farewell with a warning. “You are free to go, but you can never speak of these events to anyone.”
After resting for three days you resume your duties as a pilot, ecstatic to be in the air again. You never hear from the professor or Emily again. Climate Peace seems to have disappeared with Kate. You wonder if the data will be put to good use though.
