You slowly open the door. Engine noise and the rushing of air over the fuselage drowns out most of the sound. You sneak forward, towards the front row. The faint noise of snoring drifts from the two men. They are fast asleep! Emily is sitting upright between them, looking agitated. She spots you as you approach the second row. You immediately raise your finger to your lips, signaling her to be quiet and remain seated. You look around, there is a fire extinguisher against the back wall. “The perfect weapon!” you think to yourself.

You quickly move to the back to retrieve the extinguisher, careful not to make a sound. With the extinguisher firmly in hand, you approach the men. You point to one of the men and then the extinguisher. Emily nods. In your mind, you count to three and swing the extinguisher at the first thug.

A metallic ringing noise announces a solid strike, the man slumps forward. At the same time, Emily elbows the second man as hard as she can in the face. Cartilage cracks as her elbow drives home. The man cries out in pain, grabbing his ruined nose, tears streaming from his eyes. Emily reaches into his coat pocket, her hand emerging with a pistol. She points it at the man’s head. He lifts one arm, but the other is still holding his nose as he attempts to stop the bleeding.

In the front of this section of the plane there is a small galley. You grab some paper towels and hand it to the bleeding thug. “Keep an eye on him,” you tell Emily and go back to the cargo section, grabbing some loose straps. You tie the two thugs to their chairs. The first man is still out cold, the second, with two hugs pieces of paper towel stuck into each nostril looks at you with through tearing eyes while you tie him up, but the weapon in Emily’s hand stops him from resisting. You quickly search the unconscious man and find a second pistol.

Emily gives you a big hug. “I knew you would come and rescue me!” she exclaims and smiles brightly at you. “But what do we do now?”

“I’m a pilot, remember. We can try to take over the plane and land.”

“Yeah, very risky thought, but we can’t let them get the equipment in the back to their country. It contains prototypes of powerful technology stolen from universities across the country.”

There is another door from this section to the front of the plane, leading to the cockpit.
